German Potato Salad

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb bacon
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 4 large potatos cooked cooled & cubed
  • parsley flakes

Instructions

  • Fry bacon & parsley flakes till nearly crisp
  • Remove from heat
  • Add flour to bacon grease & blend. 
  • Add vinegar, sugar, water which have been combined.
  • Stir until thickens. Add onions saving 1/3 & cook a little longer.
  • Add potatos & mix well & cook 20 minutes longer..then add rest of onions
