Mo's Caramel Corn

Ingredients

  • 5 quarts popcorn air popped works best
  • 1 c butter
  • 2 c brown sugar
  • 1/2 c light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  • Heat until 240 degrees
  • Pop the corn & spread on large baking sheet...or huge roasting pan.
  • Keep warm in 250 degree oven until all other ingredients are ready
  • Combine in med pan stir constantly at med heat 240 degree
  • Remove from heat & add baking soda
  • Pour over corn & stir
  • Return to oven for 45-50 minutes stirring every 15 minutes
  • Cool & serve
