Pete’s camp taters stick to your ribs and are the perfect side dish to warm you up for long morning in a cold duck blind. They are by no means healthy, but they are delicious down-home camp food!

- 6 Idaho Potatoes
- 1/2 Stick of Butter
- Black Pepper
- Season Salt
- Onion Powder
- Garlic Powder
Begin by peeling and slicing the potatoes (au gratin style) into 1/8 inch or thinner slices.
Next, warm up your pan over medium-high heat to melt the butter.
Then, place your potatoes in the pan and liberally season with black pepper, season salt, onion powder, and garlic powder while mixing the potatoes to coat all sides.
Stirring occasionally throughout.
Cover and cook until potatoes are al dente (~10 minutes).
Finally, remove the cover and cook 5 additional minutes to crisp.
