Scotcheroos

The easiest recipe to make, especially if you just wait until Teri visits to have her make them!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 6 cups rice cereal
  • 6 oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 6 oz pkg butterscotch chips

Instructions

  • In large sauce pan, combine sugar, syrup & bring just to a boil.
  • Remove from heat
  • Stir in peanut better
  • Mix in cereal
  • Press in buttered 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan
  • Melt chocolate chips & butterscotch chips over a double boiler.
  • Spread over cereal mixture
  • Chill about 15 minutes cut into bars
