German Potato Salad
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb bacon
- 1 large onion chopped
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 4 large potatos cooked cooled & cubed
- parsley flakes
Instructions
- Fry bacon & parsley flakes till nearly crisp
- Remove from heat
- Add flour to bacon grease & blend.
- Add vinegar, sugar, water which have been combined.
- Stir until thickens. Add onions saving 1/3 & cook a little longer.
- Add potatos & mix well & cook 20 minutes longer..then add rest of onions
